Chains on In Pen Weighing Positions

To help with keeping the IPW scales in place, each IPW Position should be chained to the IPW Position across from it as seen in the figure below.

Ensure that the carabiner is attached to the top of the IPW scale metalwork via the long hole in the middle (see figure 1).

If no chains for the IPWs are present on site, please contact support@vytelle.com.

If sourcing the chain locally, use galvanized steel chain with a minimum link thickness of 0.25 inches (0.635 cm).

1 Length of chain and 2 Carabiners will be needed per 2 IPW Positions.

Please note: If no chains are connected to an IPW Position, and the position suffers physical damage due to the animal activity (such as being pulled out of position by the animals), then the replacement parts would not be covered under warranty.
