Action Item: Restart The DAQ Panel – 8000 IPW

Occasionally DAQ panels require a manual restart. This can be caused by an intentional or unintentional drop in voltage of electrical power to the DAQ panel and the DAQ panel did not shut down and restart properly. 

HOW TO MANUALLY RESTART THE DAQ PANEL

1. Disconnect the power cable from the bottom of the DAQ panel.

2. Wait at least 30 seconds.

3. Connect power cable back into bottom of DAQ panel. 

4. Ensure that DAQ panel has powered on correctly and that all LED indicator lights are on.

a. The green LED light indicates that the DAQ panel is receiving power.

b. The orange LED indicates the DAQ panels status and should flash every 0.5 seconds. If the orange LED light is flashing every 0.5 seconds, then the DAQ panel is collecting and transmitting data correctly.

5. If the DAQ panel does not power on correctly, the DAQ panel likely needs to be replaced. Contact Vytelle SENSE Technical Support for further troubleshooting assistance.

 

NOTES ABOUT THE DAQ PANEL

DAQ panel has a 20 mm 6 AMP glass tube fuse. If the fuse has been compromised there is likely an issue with a data cable or an RTU.
