25 moments that shaped Vytelle in 2025

Across the world, producers are being asked to do more with less: lift productivity, prove sustainability, meet new market expectations, and remain profitable in an increasingly scrutinised industry. In such an environment, producers are discerning that what matters most to them is data – data that stands up to scrutiny, unlocks genetic progress, and supports profitability into the next generation.

In 2025, as our footprint across Australia and New Zealand matured, the full effects of this were felt as we moved decisively away from a period of establishment in the region into one of growth. The new-found confidence in data-driven decision making by producers in the Southern Hemisphere translated into deeper adoption and expanding partnerships for Vytelle.

Scale and access

With adoption accelerating, 2025 became the year access truly expanded – across data, technology and on-ground capability, and across regions and production systems.

Central to this momentum was the continued evolution of Vytelle.io. In 2025, producers increasingly relied on the platform’s on-demand IVF analytics and enhanced data consulting tools to inform mating selection and breeding strategy in real time. Rather than waiting on static reports, customers could access transparent, up-to-date performance data – including donor and sire history, embryo outcomes, and transfer performance – enabling faster, more confident decisions.

Internationally, innovation continued with the launch of Vytelle ASSURE in the United States – a new, data-driven reproductive service designed to “Make Every Embryo Count.” ASSURE screens recipients to identify those with the highest likelihood of pregnancy, helping maximise IVF investment, reduce days open, and improve conception rates. The tool integrates with herd management systems and delivers immediate, colour-coded (red-yellow-green) performance insights to support real-time decisions.

In Australia, the launch of the Vytelle ADVANCE™ IVF satellite facility near Bunbury marked a step change for Western Australian producers. When Farmwest completed its first ovum pick-up collections in September 2025, hormone-free IVF became a practical, accessible, local option for both beef and dairy herds, reducing logistical barriers and expanding genetic opportunity in the region.

Bringing a new level of accessibility and ease, Vytelle launched its Global RSVP Booking Tool, allowing producers to register for ovum pick-up (OPU) sessions at satellite locations with the click of a button, streamlining scheduling and making IVF services easier to access across regions.

Vytelle also expanded the scope of data available to producers with the launch of Vytelle SENSE™ Methane technology. Integrated with existing feed intake nodes, this innovation allows producers to measure enteric emissions alongside feed efficiency, providing a more complete picture of performance, sustainability, and genetic progress.

Proof and performance

The growing scale and access of Vytelle’s technologies in 2025 meant more data, and more data meant more results. We were able to set global benchmarks, track progress across herds, and give producers confidence in the results of their breeding programs.

In May 2025, we released our first-ever Annual Global Pregnancy Summary, with 2024 data showing industry-leading pregnancy rates of 54% for fresh embryos and 49% for frozen from 27,367 checks across seven countries. This industry-first benchmark gave producers transparent, comparable data to guide their breeding decisions and accelerate genetic progress.

Since then, the Global Pregnancy Dataset has continued to grow, now exceeding 70,000 confirmed pregnancies, strengthening Vytelle’s ability to establish meaningful benchmarks and deliver even deeper reproductive insights, with the next release set to be shared via the Vytelle website.

Vytelle’s rapid global growth mirrors this momentum. We are the fastest-growing IVF company in the world, opening our 22nd laboratory in Pakistan in record time. Closer to home, our Australian team has grown to more than 30 employees, servicing producers from our Melbourne and Brisbane laboratories.

Industry adoption

The strong performance and expanding access to Vytelle’s data-driven tools in 2025 translated into growing adoption across Australia and New Zealand. This year opened at pace in New Zealand, with donors already back in the chute in the first week of the year. Commercial Account Manager Rebekah Rhind oversaw a record number of ovum pick-up procedures, balancing lab work and on-farm collections as producer demand carried straight into the new year.

Vytelle also continued to establish itself as the partner of choice for feed efficiency in key industry events. In April, we became the official feed efficiency partner for WagyuEdge’25, supporting the Australian Wagyu Association’s Net Feed Intake Fellowship and helping producers unlock actionable insights to accelerate genetic progress across the breed.

In May, the Vytelle SENSETM Feed Efficiency Day in Brisbane brought together producers, scientists, and global delegates for a tour of the Vytelle ADVANCE™ IVF Lab, seeing first-hand how accurate, real-time data is now a cornerstone of modern beef production. That same month, the World Angus Forum returned to Brisbane, where we demonstrated how our precision technologies help breeders achieve faster, more reliable genetic gains.

Later in the year, Vytelle continued to expand its presence across the country. In September, we sponsored the inaugural Queen of the Ring event at CQLX, Gracemere, celebrating superior maternal traits and elite Droughtmaster females. In October, we strengthened engagement in Northern Australia as Silver Partner of the Rockhampton Brahman Week Sale, the Southern Hemisphere’s largest bull sale, highlighting the growing uptake of ADVANCE™ hormone-free IVF among northern Brahman breeders.

Future Pipeline

In 2025, Vytelle also invested in initiatives designed to accelerate growth across Australia and New Zealand, building a pipeline of talent, knowledge, and leadership. We launched the four-part “Behind the Microscope” masterclass series, helping producers deepen their understanding of IVF and genetic decision-making, and strengthening knowledge across the next generation of herd managers.

Our commitment to emerging producers continued at the Royal Adelaide Show, where we sponsored the Beef Cattle Young Paraders and Dairy Cattle Judging National Finals, and launched the inaugural Vytelle Heifer Jackpot, awarding $4,000 in prizes and frozen embryos to showcase elite junior heifers and handlers.

Leadership investments also underpinned this growth strategy. In November, Adam Allingham joined as Customer Service Manager, bringing six years of experience from Angus Australia. Based in Armidale, Adam strengthens the team’s capacity to deliver expert guidance, ensuring producers are fully supported as Vytelle scales its impact throughout Australasia. With each new partnership, on-farm success, and data-driven insight, Vytelle is cementing its position as a leader in the IVF and genetic solutions space across Australasia.
