Dairy Sales Specialist, Western U.S.

Exciting opportunity for a dairy sales professional to join Vytelle, a fast-growing and innovative reproductive services company. Key Responsibilities
• Manage a sales territory that includes California, Oregon, Washington and Idaho

• Identify prospects and create plan to achieve sales goals within territory

• Aid in achieving customer goals through performance analysis and assistance in selecting animals for IVF

• Facilitate customer success through collaboration with the entire Vytelle team, including franchisees

• Actively contribute ideas to improve processes and solutions to achieve better performance results for customers

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in dairy science, animal science or business

• Prior dairy sales experience

• Strong personal connections within the Western U.S. dairy industry

• Knowledgeable and passionate about dairy herd performance

• Ability to work independently as well as within a team

• Excellent communications skills, including speaking to groups

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

• Familiarity with DairyComp and other dairy record keeping systems

• Familiarity with genetic selection, genomics and/or dairy reproductive services

• Availability to travel frequently

• Bilingual fluency (English and Spanish) a plus

Laboratory Technician – Hermiston, Oregon

Exciting opportunity for an experience laboratory technician to join Vytelle, a fast-growing and innovative reproductive services company. As a member of our laboratory team in Hermiston, Oregon, you will be an integral component of our all-natural, hormone-free invitro fertilization (IVF) process for livestock, including dairy and beef cattle.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow established IVF processes, including plate preparation, oocyte searching, semen sample preparation, embryo culture processing, and embryo loading and freezing

• Basic maintenance of processing equipment, glassware and plastic dishes and processing areas

• Travel occasionally to farms to help with oocyte aspiration and embryo production, working with other laboratories and personnel within the Vytelle organization

 Desired Qualifications

• Lab technician formation or previous experience in biology or chemistry

• Knowledge of oocyte, sperm and embryo biology and cryopreservation techniques

• USDA APHIS accreditation and AETA certification a plus, but will help obtain

Veterinary Internship – Hermiston, Oregon

Exciting opportunity for a veterinary student at an accredited U.S. veterinary school to gain valuable experience at Vytelle, a fast-growing and innovative cattle reproductive services company. Vytelle offers an all-natural, hormone-free IVF process that’s easier on animals and helps dairy and beef producers make faster genetic progress in their herds. Our goal is to educate and engage with veterinary students interested in ovum pickup (OPU) and in-vitro fertilization (IVF) processes, equipping them with knowledge and training to apply in their future practices. Participating interns must have prior experience handling cattle and an interest in bovine reproduction.

What This Internship Offers
